I’ve been meaning to start keeping track of my bowling scores now that I’m bowling on a somewhat regular basis again. I used to enter my total scores into my PDA but this time I want to keep full game detail. After searching for a good scoresheet PDF for a while and not liking anything I found, I decided to make one for myself.

So here it is, the official Tylerdave Blank Bowling Score sheet PDF.

Enjoy.

Note: If you’re ever in the Cleveland area and would like to go bowling, let me know. Sean and I try to go every Thursday evening at 9:00pm, usually at Madison Square Lanes, and every Sunday morning at 9:30am or so, usually at Fairview Lanes. I’m also willing to go just about any other time, just let me know.

TB and I went bowling at good ol’ Madison Square lanes tonight, and in the middle of game number two I remembered my old bowling technique!

For almost a year now, my bowling has been all over the place. I would alternate pretty good and pretty crappy games and couldn’t figure it out. Tonight I realized what I was forgetting to do and I bowled pretty damned consistent after that.

For those interested:
When I release the ball, I need to look directly at the arrow (I had been doing that). I was forgetting to continue looking at the arrow during my release and follow-through. Once I remembered this simple step my bowling got much more consistent. I even got a new high score.

Tonight was also the first time in months that I didn’t have blisters after a couple games. I’m guessing that the lack of blisters has something to do with my rediscovered technique as well.
