So apparently upgrading the firmware was a bad idea. Because of a semi-common problem with the upgrade process for my particular camera, it’s now completely unusable. I spoke with an HP service rep who was surprisingly very helpful. A replacement is on its way; it should arrive Monday. It’s going to be frustrating looking at my camera all weekend but not being able to use it. Oh well…
That sucks. I feel sort of the same way at the moment… I just bought some swank new speakers, and the left-rear channel doesn’t work. All four speakers are fine, there’s just no output from that one channel…
