I always store a full change of clothes in a plastic bag in the car in case of a dire dampness disaster. This sort of thing might be handy if your whole family wore the same sorts of socks. Have you ever been in the store and seen a bag of socks that has been ripped and then taped shut? For some reason, people seem to have the need to touch socks but not buy them. I'm thinking the resealable bag is an effort to reduce lost inventory. The only flaw with this logic is that the seal is on the back, where you wouldn't necessarily notice it unless you read the bag. I know I ripped mine open before noticing the seal. I think I may have figured out the resealable bag thing.
