Are You A Yob?

Sponsord Links:

I wouldn’t normally post a link to such a bad (and very British) quiz but it was so strange to hear NPR’s Robert Siegel direct listeners to the Are You A Yob? quiz on the Guardian website that I just had to. The radio segment was about British Parliament considering extending pub hours past 11PM for the first time since WWII.

The quiz wouldn’t be too bad if it had some indication of the scale of the score.

Apparently I’m an 11, whatever that means.

I’m a 9, but I had to skip the last question since it confused the pants off of me. I was also kind of confused about the definition of “cut up” in the second question. Between this and the new episode of Junkyard Wars, I’ve had enough British to last me for weeks.

Well “cut up” is essentially the same as “cut off” – someone darting in front of you in traffic.

I got an 11, silly quiz. I don’t consider myself particularly yob-like at all.

I scored a 12 as well, but I wasnt sure about the last one either.

I htink the quiz is out of 24 because I tried answering each question with the most yobbish answer and I got a 24.

I got a 12. I think it has something to do with all of the football thugs I hang out with.
