Looking through my freshly folded clothes reveals that more than half of my t-shirts are from the dot com freebie days. All of the following shirts were acquired in the fall of ‘99:

Cisco (2)
3Com (3)
Compaq
IBM
Intraware
Jamcracker
Intraware (2)
WRQ
Bolt
X.com

Interestingly, all of the companies are still around except my former favorite bank, X.com

    Yeah, X.com was bought by Paypal. Before that, they were an actual bank in which you could keep your checking balance in a money market account, transfer balances between different accounts at different banks via ACH and do a whole bunch of other neat stuff, all for free. Maybe that’s why they had to sell out…

    Yeah, it’s interesting to see that they’re keeping the x.com domain alive. I never used their services myself, but it looked cool.

    the really funny thing is that I also have most of those same tshirts. My ratio is more like 75% free dotcom shirts.

    I almost forgot the iBelieve.com t-shirt which is in my regular undershirt rotation.
